Moody’s Afternoon of Service
Moody’s Afternoon of Service is Moody’s signature volunteer program. Through Moody's Afternoon of Service, employees have an opportunity to take time out of their work day to volunteer with their business unit colleagues on team based projects coordinated with local nonprofit organizations, including Moody's community partners. Since its inception in July 2008, Moody's Afternoon of Service volunteers have had a significant impact on the community. In 2010 Moody’s launched the Global Volunteer Council (GVC) to help with selecting, promoting and organizing local Afternoon of Service activities around the world. The GVC has been successful in expanding the program throughout EMEA, Canada and Asia. In 2011, 57% of all Moody’s employees participated in a company sponsored volunteer program largely due to the high participation in the Afternoon of Service program.

Below is a chart of participation in all Moody’s Sponsored Volunteer Programs.
