- Moody's takes multiple actions on Spanish multi-cedulas ratings
  We have downgraded five series of various Spanish multi-issuer covered bonds (multi-cedulas), changed the review for downgrade of 52 series of multi-cedulas to review with direction uncertain, and placed the ratings of two series of multi-cedulas on review for upgrade. In addition, the ratings of eight multi-cedulas remain on review for downgrade. - 16 Spanish banks and Santander UK Plc downgraded as part of wider review of European banks
  We downgraded 16 Spanish banks as well as Santander UK Plc, the UK-domiciled subsidiary of Banco Santander SA, as part of a review for downgrade of various European banks initiated on 15 February 2012. Seven of these banks remain on review for further downgrade. We already took action on 26 Italian banks earlier this week and seven Portuguese banks in March. We expect to conclude the remaining reviews on other European banking systems by the end of June. - Moody's takes multiple actions on Spanish covered bond ratings
  We have downgraded six and affirmed five ratings of covered bonds issued by Spanish banks, while maintaining the reviews for downgrade of 10 further Spanish covered bonds.
