How We Work Together
This signature employee engagement program invites each business unit to participate in a team-based service activity outside of work that benefits the local community. Nonprofit Board Service
Moody’s encourages its employees to serve on nonprofit boards and provides them tools, training and resources such as BoardnetUSA and BoardBuilders to explore board-service options.CSR Council
This group of dedicated Moody’s employees works with the Corporate Social Responsibility staff to help manage nonprofit partnerships and organize volunteer projects in more than 30 cities around the world. Each member of the Council is responsible for providing philanthropic opportunities to their colleagues and communities.Up2You
Employees active in their communities can take on a greater leadership role through Up2You. By applying to host events for nonprofit organizations, participants can rally teams of colleagues, friends and family members around causes that matter to them.Global Volunteer Award
An annual recognition program that honors selected employees to those who demonstrate outstanding involvement in their communities. Awards of USD $2,500 are made to qualified nonprofit organizations where winners volunteer.
Employee Directed Giving
This Moody’s program matches an employee’s personal gift to any eligible tax-exempt nonprofit or governmental organization, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500 USD per calendar year.
Dollars for Doers
This Moody’s program matches an employee’s personal gift to any eligible tax-exempt nonprofit or governmental organization, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500 USD per calendar year.Employees who volunteer 40 or more hours (in a calendar year) at a single nonprofit are rewarded by having a $500 grant given to that organization on their behalf.
Moody’s Matching Gifts and Dollars for Doers programs are currently available to employees in the US, UK, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Singapore offices.
Give As You Earn
A payroll giving scheme in the UK office, Give As You Earn allows employees to make tax-free charitable donations directly from their salaries. Employees may allocate monthly donations to one single charity or divide the amount between several organizations.
