    Our cybersecurity survey of technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) companies indicates that the largest companies have adopted the strongest cyber governance practices overall, although smaller companies have a larger proportion of board members with cyber expertise. While governance practices are strong across all TMT sectors, technology and telecom companies scored higher overall.

    On 14 July, the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) launched the investigation phase of a digital euro project potentially allowing for an accelerated timeline compared with previous targets. According to ECB officials, the digital euro would complement rather than replace cash.
