    • Taiwan banking system outlook stable
      The stable outlook on Taiwan’s banking system reflects our expectation that the economy will improve in the next 12-18 months, allowing banks to maintain their credit metrics. While there are some pressure points on asset quality, they are broadly offset by the ample liquidity, adequate capital positions, and improved profitability of Taiwanese banks.
