Moody's Investors Service
China Credit Weekly
Dec 6 - 13, 2017

This week we published our outlooks for 2018 for the Asia Pacific insurance sector, Asia Pacific covered bonds and Chinese financial institutions.

We also published the latest edition of our Asian Liquidity Stress Indicator (LSI), which improved to 26.4% in November from 27.6% in October, largely due to the addition of new issuers. However, the November reading remains weaker than the long-term average of 23.1%, indicating that some companies still demonstrate weak liquidity.

We also published our Q3 update on the Asia Pacific auto asset-backed securities (ABS) market, with performance strong in China, Australia and Japan, and the market in India showing signs of stabilization.

On the events front, our webcast today will discuss the Asia Pacific securitization and covered bonds market, and our annual China Credit Outlook Conference takes place in Shanghai tomorrow and Shenzhen on 18 December.
